A: Form normal rooms use the room number. For named rooms (like Ballroom) use the phone extension in that room. This field is how you will reference the room through the voice card interface. |

Q: When filling out the excel import form, what does the "Max Grade" mean? | Category: Setup |
A: Max Grade is a field that is used on a report that provides an overall grade or rating system. This can be used by Front Desk associates to evaluate the quality of a room. A higher score means less work outstanding in that room. |

Q: What type of 2-way devices and/or services are supported with 2-way text messaging? | Category: Dispatching |
A: SynergyMMS can communicate with a number of different devices and services. Certain networks have restrictions, however, so you will want to check with SAI or you network administrator for clarification. The 3 most popular services that are known to work in most networks are AT&T/Cingular, Nextel and USA Mobility pagers. |

Q: Why don't I see all of the SynergyMMS screens on my monitor display? | Category: General |
A: SynergyMMS is designed to display on a monitor with a resolution set at 1024 X 768. If the resolution is less than this - for example, if it is set to 800 X 600 - some SynergyMMS screens will not display properly. Set your monitor's resolution to at least 1024 X 768 to resolve this issue. |

Q: How do I create a Custom Query to show all closed items in the last x days. | Category: Work Requests |
A: Once in the Work Request Full Detail screen:
1. click on the blue filter icon in the upper left hand corner of the screen.
2. Select Custom Query.
3. Click Add
4. Type in a Name and Description. (The summary will build based on the Filters you apply)
5. Set filter 1 Status / is / Closed
6. Set filter 2 Status / is not / Deleted
7. Set filter 3 Date Closed / Greater than / {today-x}
This will allow you to view all work requests that have been closed in the last 30 days regardless of dates.
* Remember SynergyMMS has a limit of 8400 work request that can be displayed in the panel.

Q: How do I create new time settings for my aging reports | Category: Reports |
A: Aging reports allow for 5 time settings. You can use M for Minutes, H for Hours, D for Days and W for Weeks. The 5 time setting need to be seperated by a /. An Example would be 15 Days / 30 Days / 60 Days / 90 Days / 120 Days. Take note when you create these as the format you use in the set up will carry over into the format on the report. |

Q: How do I automatically dispatch a Work Request? | Category: Dispatching |
A: Each Task Code in SynergyMMS can be preset for a specific Output Device, such as a pager, printer or 2-way messaging phone. When a Work Request is created using either the QuikTicket View or SynergyMMS Voice Interface, the Work Request will be automatically dispatched to the selected Output Device.
To assign the Output Device in a Task Code: 1. Click Toolbox 2. Click Setup, then click Task Codes 3. Select the desired Task Code and then display the Details tab 4. Select the desired Output Device from the list provided and click Save to finish |

Q: How do I print my Preventive Maintenance (PM) Work Requests after they generate? | Category: Preventive Maintenance |
A: SynergyMMS provides a full page report for printing PMs with all the detail needed to complete the job.
To print a PM Work Request: 1. Click Toolbox 2. Click Reports, then Preventive Maintenance Reports and finally Work Request 3. Click the Format tab and select Detail for the Report Style 4. Click PM Full Detail for the Report Selection then click View |

A: Many celluar providers have a standardized email address for phones on their network for delivering text messages to these devices. Some of the more common email addresses are listed below:
Nextel: [phonenum]@messaging.nextel.com
Sprint: [phonenum]@messaging.sprintpcs.com
Note: Replace [phonenum] with the device's ten (10) digit phone number. |

A: Installing SynergyMMS on a workstation is very simple. Go to www.SynergyMMS.com click Support / Installation and then select SynergyMMS Client Installer. You will need your address or server Ip and your property id. Contact SAI for these details. |

Q: I just updated to Internet Explorer 8 and now when I load SynergyMMS I get a download dialogue box. Why? | Category: Installation |
A: Sometimes when updating Internet Explorer the previous security settings are overwritten. These can be reset by following the instructions in the referenced file. |
